We have officially begun construction at Van der Valk Hotel Leeuwarden. A total of 99 luxury hotel rooms will be added, some featuring a whirlpool bath. The new wing will also include a guest lounge, swimming pool, wellness area and fitness center. The opening is planned for autumn 2026.

From week 47, we will focus on the foundation beams and the construction of the elevator shaft—two crucial elements for the stability and functionality of the building. Additionally, the installation of utility lines will take place during this phase.
With every pile driven into the ground, we are not only building a strong foundation but also shaping a future full of possibilities.
