Would you like to completely unwind? Enjoy our sauna at Hotel Leeuwarden. Unlimited access for our hotel guests.

Before entering the saunas, you can warm up under a hot shower. After that, you can relax in the Finnish sauna. Don't forget to cool down under the cold shower.
The wellness area is located on the fourth floor right next to the elevator.

Monday to Friday from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M.
Saturday and Sunday from 10 A.M. to 10 P.M.

Good to know:
- The wellness area is only accessible to our hotel guests.
- We kindly ask you to wear swimwear in the wellness area.
- Children are allowed (under supervision).
- Towels are provided, so you don't need to bring them from your room.

Did you forget your bathrobe and slippers? You can rent these at the reception.

    Finnish sauna (70°-90°)

    The Finnish sauna primarily circulates hot air. You can pour water over the sauna stove filled with stones. This increases humidity, making it even hotter, and promotes more sweating. This, in turn, has a relaxing and cleansing effect on your body.

    These sauna benches are heated and shaped in a way that allows you to comfortably relax while ensuring you don't get cold.

  • Cold plunge bucket

    You pull the lever, and you are drenched with cold water! This is indeed an effective way to cool down after the sauna. The bucket refills automatically. Additionally, there is a cooling hose for a more gradual cooldown.
