Live Cooking

The Live Cooking buffet is located in our restaurant Ús Mem on the first floor. Come and enjoy a fantastic evening during the Live Cooking dinner buffet at Hotel Leeuwarden.

The perfect occasion for a culinary and delightful evening out. You have unlimited choice from a wide variety of delicacies and unlimited drinks from the Dutch beverage assortment.* You are welcome to take your seat in our restaurant from 5:15 P.M. The Live Cooking dinner lasts approximately 2.5 hours. The restaurant closes around 10 P.M.

The kitchen brigade presents:
- Parade of surprising cold and hot appetizers
- Extensive salad buffet
- Meat and fish dishes prepared à la minute by our chef
- Stir-fry dishes and fresh vegetables prepared à la minute by our chef
- A special buffet for children
- To conclude, our pastry chefs serve homemade sweets and scoop ice cream
- Includes drinks from the Dutch beverage assortment*

Sunday

Allergens
We strive to prepare our dishes so that guests with the most common food allergies can enjoy their meal with us. If you have an allergy or intolerance, please inform our staff. We will promptly inform you about the ingredients used in your dishes. If possible, we will adjust the composition of the dishes for you.

Reservations
You are most welcome in our restaurant! We recommend reserving a table for your dinner via the box in the top right corner, by calling 058-8200100 or via info@leeuwarden.valk.nl.

For larger groups, please contact us (telephone reservations required for groups of 15 or more). Depending on your group size, we will reserve the table; groups larger than 8 may be seated at multiple tables, but we will ensure your party is seated together.

Good to know:
- From April 28 to September 29, Live Cooking on Sundays is on summer break.
- Pets are not allowed in our restaurant (but are welcome in the hotel bar or lobby).
- We cannot guarantee table preferences and seating is subject to availability in the restaurant. We will do our utmost to accommodate your requests.
- Different rates may apply during and around holidays. The weekend before Christmas will feature Christmas decorations in the restaurant.
- Limited or no Live Cooking may be available during Christmas, spring, May, summer, autumn holidays, and public holidays. However, you are welcome to join us for à la carte dining.
- Free cancellation is possible up to 24 hours before the activity. Within 24 hours, we charge 50% of the reservation value.

*The Dutch beverage assortment includes various soft drinks, draught beers, and house wines. Drinks not included in this arrangement will be charged separately.
